Excited for a wonderful university life ahead
Hi there
I’m XFffff, an ordinary guy from Guilin, Guangxi, China. I’m about to start college as a liberal arts student, majoring in Ideological and Political Education （思想政治教育）.
To be honest, I’ve picked up a bit of programming on my own, but my main way of building things is vibe coding — I figure out what to build and whether it’s good, and the AI handles how to write it. This blog, a birthday reminder tool, two web games, and an Android app were all “asked into existence” one line at a time.
But I’m not just a web coding guy. I love tinkering with Android: flashing ROMs, compiling and adapting drivers for my own devices, and enabling all kinds of weird and wonderful features. I also run a NAS at home (a Linux box) and enjoy writing small software to run on it. To me, turning an idea into something that actually runs matters more than which technology was used.
My Interests
- Coding — I’m a liberal arts student, but I just love tinkering. Vibe coding lets me turn any idea into reality.
- Flashing & tinkering with devices — Android ROMs, compiling/adapting drivers for my own devices (like a GPU driver module for my tablet), exploring what’s under the hood.
- NAS & self-hosted services — Running a home NAS (Linux), writing small apps for it, playing with Docker.
- Gaming — Casual games to relax.
- History & reading — A liberal arts student’s bread and butter; I love history and reading books.

How I Work With AI
It’s basically this loop:
I have an idea → describe it to AI → it writes code → I run it → error → I paste it back → it fixes → repeat… until it works
- I describe what I want in plain language, and AI turns my ideas into code
- When I don’t understand something, I just ask it — like having an on-call teacher
- I decide “is this good and usable?”, AI decides “how to implement it”
- Sometimes I edit a couple of lines myself — and the moment I fix it correctly, it feels amazing

This blog isn’t to prove anything. It’s simply to document my growth: looking back six months from now, I’ll remember how the clueless kid who knew nothing slowly tinkered his way here.
